It represents and promotes the Kin Kin community at all government levels to ensure local environment, culture and celebrations are embraced, fostering goodwill and propserity.

KIN KIN derives its name from the original naming of the “King King Creek”, mapped by surveyors in the early 1800s. Kin Kin is the major freshwater catchment for the Noosa river system situated in the north-west of the Shire.
